Get ready for All-Things-Blueberries at Montrose’s 44th Annual Blueberry Festival Friday, August 1 to Saturday, August 2, from 9a – 4p on the Village Green (corner of Monument & Maple St).
Kicking off two nearly-full days of pure summer fun for the entire family, the festival will be dishing up blueberry-inspired pancakes for breakfast (8 am – 10:30 am) and lunch (10:30 am – 3 pm), while offering other delicious varieties of blueberry-themed sweets and treats (baked goods, ice cream and cotton candy!) throughout the event.
The Montrose Blueberry Festival is a perfect event the whole family can enjoy while getting some sunshine and fresh, mountainous air. The youngsters can enjoy a variety of games and activities to keep their little minds entertained, while the adults browse all the different vendors, raffles, White Elephant Sale, and so much more.
Any runners out there looking to get some extra steps in (and inspire the rest of us from the sidelines), you can register for the Blueberry Hill 5k (Fee $30) and the Newberry Fun Run (Free). Register Here.
Both the 5k race and Fun Run will take place Saturday, August 2.
***REGISTRATION ENDS 8 PM AUGUST 1***
All proceeds from the festival and 5K/Fun Run are benefiting the Susquehanna Historical Society & Free Library Association.
